Some more developments for my unfinished exterior shot of The House of Usher. I'm pretty happy with the image so far, it's got a good atmosphere, although I do like the sky from Figure 4 better. all I need to do now is add some directional evening light and slap in some colours.

Thumbnails for The fall of The House of Usher

Some more thumbnails for the exterior of the House of Usher. Building are my weakness when it comes to drawing so for a while I gave up drawing them. The first few thumbnails aren't really that inspired but I made number two into more of a painting in one of Phil's photoshop lessons which was moderately successful. After that I concetrated more on the landscape just getting the shape and placement of objects right before I tackle the house design, my favourites so far are numbers 7, 8 and 11.
